ONTARIO WINERY WEDDING AT BELLAMERE WINERY

Tracy & Daniel

On a chilly day in November, among beautiful gardens and stunning grounds, two people came together to celebrate their love story.

After months of planning an Ontario winery wedding provinces away from the location, two of my closest friends finally had the day they had been dreaming of.

And I’m so excited to say I got to be a part of making it all come true!

Planning the London, Ontario Wedding

Tracy and Daniel lived in Newfoundland from September of 2018 to June of 2020, all while planning a wedding back home in Ontario. But they knew the look they were searching for when it came to choosing a wedding venue. And in the end, they selected a beautiful winery venue. They settled on a Bellamere winery wedding, and it couldn’t have fit their love story more perfectly!

Adding in Personal Details for Their Ontario Winery Wedding

When their day came closer, I stepped in for their event management. And even though they had settled on their colour palette on their own, I helped them add in personal details to make their wedding more them.

We added in splashes of Dr. Who for the groom. His tie and his socks were both themed after his favourite TV show. And we tucked personalized, blue Tardis cookies into each place setting’s napkin.

And Daniel came to me before the big day to ask about his wedding gift to Tracy. Not only did I have great ideas from my years as a wedding planner, but I also helped find the perfect gift for my best friend.

In the end, Daniel gave her her favourite bottle of perfume. And to make it perfect for them, he had one of their favourite quotes from Dr. Who engraved on it!

The Special Moments on Tracy and Daniel’s Bellamere Winery Wedding Day

One of the special moments of Tracy and Daniel’s day was the time spent with Tracy and her father.

She wanted to make sure we carved out time on her itinerary to carry on their lifelong tradition of helping him tie his tie.

So that’s exactly what we did! Despite the hustle and bustle of the wedding day, you still should make time for the moments that matter most

We created plenty of space in her wedding day timeline so she could spend that time during photos with her dad. She tied his tie just like she’s always done since she was a little girl. And her wedding photographer was able to catch that magical moment for her to keep for years to come!

The Best Part of Tracy and Daniel’s Ontario Winery Wedding

Every wedding is magical, but there’s always the parts that make me so excited even after so many seasons of planning!

Here’s the best part of Tracy and Daniel’s Ontario winery wedding:

Enjoying the Ontario Winery Wedding with My Best Friend

I love every single one of my couples that I have the privilege of working with. But Tracy and Daniel’s wedding holds a special place in my heart because Tracy is one of my best friends!

She and I met in 2018 years ago when she moved up to Newfoundland with Daniel. He was getting his bachelor’s degree, and she went with him. As fate would have it, they moved into the apartment right below mine.

Not only were we next door neighbours, she and I also ended up working at the same place! We became fast friends, and the rest? Well, we can just call that history.

There is something so special about getting to be a part of your best friend’s amazing day. And, on top of that, I got to play a major part in making sure her wedding day came together the way she always envisioned.

Tracy and Daniel wanted to make sure they were living in the present moment, instead of having to worry about coordinating all of the vendor and timeline logistics. That’s where I stepped in!

As their event manager, I took care of making sure all of their hard planning work came together. With my handy-dandy itinerary on my clipboard, I coordinated the day’s affairs so everything ran smoothly.

That meant they were able to enjoy their family and friends – and their choreographed dance (which had us all dancing in our seats, too)!

And ultimately, their Bellamere winery wedding was one dreamy day filled with the unique parts that made up their love story.
